Ultraprocessed Food in the Crosshairs

San Francisco has filed a lawsuit against 11 major food companies for engaging in unfair and deceptive acts. The San Francisco city attorney claims the U.S. diet is high in ultraprocessed foods, increasing healthcare costs. The lawsuit takes the same approach previously taken with the tobacco industry.
