With the 2025 harvest in the books, the guessing game has begun for next year’s acreage mix. “A lot of guys are looking at the corn, soybeans, some more corn, more canola in the southern regions we’re seeing, and more sunflower talk because of the price,” reports Proseed’s Jeff Hamre. Hamre says Proseed is ready to go. “We have six new hybrids of corn on our books right now; we’re really excited about them for different areas. We also have 12 new varieties of soybeans that are new to the Proseed lineup.”
