USDA data shows soybean and corn inspections for export declined in the week ending November 20, while wheat assessments increased. Soybean inspections totaled almost 800,000 metric tons, down from 1.21 million the previous week and below the 2.12 million reported a year earlier. Corn inspections fell to 1.63 million metric tons compared to 2.97 million the prior week, though still higher than the 1.01 million reported last year. Wheat inspections rose to 474,530 metric tons, up from 246,533 the previous week and above last year’s 366,000. Since the marketing year began, the USDA has inspected 17.5 million metric tons of corn, 10.9 million of soybeans, and 10.7 million of wheat.
