Across the Red River Valley, American Crystal Sugar Company growers had an average yield of 33.7 tons per acre with sugar content of just over 18 percent. The latest American Crystal AgNotes said the highest average yield was in the Crookston District at 35.9 tons per acre. The highest sugar content was 18.10 percent and it was in the Hillsboro District.
