Tyson Foods announced it is closing its Lexington, Nebraska beef processing plant and convert its Amarillo, Texas facility into a single full-capacity shift. The Nebraska plant has a daily capacity of 5,000 head and employs 3,000 people. The timeline for the closure was not provided.
