The Hansen-Mueller grain company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The Omaha-based company reports an estimated 1,000 to 5,000 creditors and lists between $100 million and $500 million in liabilities. Viterra and Cargill are the two largest unsecured creditors.
