Friday Deadline for Wildfire Losses

Friday is the deadline for livestock producers to apply for assistance through the Emergency Livestock Relief Program for 2023 and 2024 flood and wildfire losses. Due to the government shutdown, the Farm Service Agency said livestock and dairy farmers may not have had the opportunity to submit applications for assistance previously. Wildfires in 2024 caused significant losses for North Dakota ranchers.
