POTUS Targets Packing Industry

On Friday, President Trump put meatpackers in the crosshairs, saying they “are driving up the price of beef, through illicit collusion, price fixing and price manipulation.” On Truth Social, Trump said his administration would launch an investigation. Attorney General Pam Bondi quickly followed, saying a Justice Department investigation is underway. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins was next up on social media. Rollins posted “POTUS is cracking down on the foreign-owned meat-packing cartels that have been ripping off American ranchers and driving up prices!”
