High Court to Address Tariff Powers This Week

The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments regarding President Trump’s use of emergency tariffs on Wednesday. The National Taxpayers Union has released a letter signed by 465 economists, stating that the continuation of these tariffs poses a significant threat to the U.S. economy. A group of Democrats in Congress has also filed a friend-of-the-court brief with the Court, claiming Trump illegally imposed tariffs under the Emergency Economic Powers Act.
