Profits Reported at BASF

In the third quarter, BASF posted a profit of $200.4 million in U.S. currency.  A year ago, BASF had U.S.-equivalent income of more than $300 million. Company officials said customer buying behavior in all of its businesses and parts of the world “remained cautious.”
