Palmer amaranth has been confirmed in North Dakota’s Divide County. One plant was pulled from a wet/green spot at the outer edges of a wheat field. The National Agricultural Genotyping Center confirmed it was Palmer amaranth. Growers are being encouraged to report any suspect plants to local weed officers or NDSU Extension.
