The Carrington, North Dakota FFA Chapter took fourth in the Farm and Agribusiness Management Career Development Event in Indianapolis. Team members Molly Hansen, Bailey Ness, Chuck Jorgensen and Sam Simons, spent three months preparing for the 200-question test. “About a month ago, we really started working on this year’s case farm which was Kanduit Valley Farms, a dairy enterprise mainly, and we just dove deeper into their balance sheet, income statement, income taxes with some basic risk management and economic principles,” said Hansen.
