SD Wheat Growers Names New Executive Director

The South Dakota Wheat Growers Association has named Jennifer Scharpe as its new executive director. Scharpe brings more than 15 years of experience in agricultural education and leadership, along with a lifelong connection to production agriculture. She succeeds Caren Assman, who is retiring. Assman will remain with the organization through December to help coordinate the Ag Horizons Conference and support a smooth leadership transition.
