Sugarbeet Harvest Continues in Northeast ND

St. Thomas, North Dakota farmer Brent Baldwin says the finish line for his sugarbeet harvest is in sight. Recent rain slowed down the beet lifters. “It’s a little bit more of a struggle, a little bit more mud.” Baldwin says this year’s crop is shaping up well. “You know, it’s really good , a really good crop. It’s nice tonnage. Sugar’s a little bit disappointing.”
