Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will soon release new dietary guidelines. There are reports that Kennedy will promote the consumption of more foods high in saturated fats. RFK is saying foods, like red meat, butter and cheese, have been unfairly demonized. The dietary guidelines are updated every five years. The current recommendation limits recommended saturated fat consumption to ten percent of their daily calories.
