Cass County Ag and Natural Resource Extension Agent Lilly Bina grew up with both agriculture and 4-H present in her life from a young age. “Agriculture was kind of the center of my life, and the first activity I did in 4-H was crop judging. I think I was probably nine years old, I was learning crop seeds and weed seeds and then I went on to show chickens at the fair that year.” Bina credits 4-H for getting her to where she is today. ” I learned how to fail, but in a constructive environment. I developed good communication skills through 4-H, and really just met so many people that it’s given me such a wide network.”
