StoneX has released its latest crop production estimate. It is forecasting average corn yields at 185.9 bushels per acre. That’s down from USDA’s latest estimate of 186.7 bushels. StoneX bumped its soybean estimate up to 53.9 bushels per acre, up nearly a half-bushel from last month’s USDA report. USDA’s latest supply-demand report is scheduled for release on Thursday, but that will likely be impacted by the government shutdown.
