As of September 1, USDA estimated old crop corn stocks at 1.53 billion bushels. That’s almost 200 million bushels higher than the average trade guess. Soybean stocks are at 316 million bushels, which is slightly below the average industry estimate. The first new crop wheat stocks estimate is at 2.12 billion bushels, which is above the pre-report trade expectations.
