Construction is moving quickly on the new Agristo French fry processing plant in Grand Forks. Project Director Ruben Devos said work began last week, with crews focused on beating the weather. “We want to do as much as possible before winter hits Grand Forks, so that after winter, we are ready to start foundations, to have maximum time for doing all the work needed.” The facility will be among the largest of its kind, boasting massive production capacity and storage, multiple production lines, and the ability to produce 300,000 tons of end products annually. Agristo expects the plant to be operational by early 2028.
