Tyson Foods is voluntarily dropping the use of high-fructose corn syrup in its branded products. Tyson brands include Jimmy Dean, Ball Park and Hillshire Meats. The corporate decision coincides with the Trump Administration’s Make America Healthy Again initiative. Earlier this year, the Corn Refiners Association released a report saying the complete elimination of high-fructose corn syrup would reduce corn prices by 34 cents per bushel and take over $5 billion in revenue from farm families.
