Corey Hanson, who is a member of the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council, said the foundation is being established to coordinate research between the University of Minnesota and North Dakota State University. “We’re getting the two teams together to work on the exact same projects with the exact same parameters to try to get more bang for the buck as we look at more testing and more results.” It may take a year or two to bring this together, but “there is excitement to see things like that to make our (checkoff) dollars go further and have stronger scientific evidence is really great.”
