During the weekend, President Donald Trump responded to a reporter’s question about consumer beef prices. “When our policies kick in, the price of beef is going to go down, just like the price of eggs went down and the price of a lot of other grocery items went down, beef will go down,” said Trump. “Energy has gone way down; the price of gasoline, I think, will be hitting $2 (per gallon) pretty soon.”
