Breckenridge, Minnesota’s Jerry Nordick is seeing a lot of differences in the crops from all the rain they received this season. “We can definitely see where we were wet this spring with all the variability in the fields.” Nordick says the soybeans, in particular, had a tough growing season. “They just kind of lagged behind all year long. Only in the last three weeks have they really woken up.” Nordick anticipates harvest starting up in mid-to-late September.
