On Tuesday, September 9, North Dakota State Climatologist Daryl Ritchison and South Dakota State Climatologist Laura Edwards will outline the harvest weather outlook and more. Terrain Chief Economist John Newton has had a front-row seat to the development of farm policy and trade policy. A former economist for the Senate Ag Committee, American Farm Bureau Federation and National Milk Producers Federation, Newton has a unique perspective and he’ll be on the RRFN stage Wednesday morning. Newton has a gift for cutting through the noise to explain price and policy shifts and the impact on farmers.
