RRFN has a rock star line-up for its morning forums during the Big Iron Farm Show. On Tuesday, September 9, North Dakota State Climatologist Daryl Ritchison and South Dakota State Climatologist Laura Edwards will outline the harvest weather outlook and more. Terrain Chief Economist John Newton has had a front-row seat to the development of farm policy and trade policy. A former economist for the Senate Ag Committee, American Farm Bureau Federation and National Milk Producers Federation, Newton has a unique perspective and he’ll be on the RRFN stage Wednesday morning. Newton has a gift for cutting through the noise to explain price and policy shifts and the impact on farmers. The Thursday morning forum will feature Farm Service Agency Administrator Bill Beam in his first visit to the region. Join us in-person or on the RRFN YouTube channel.
