The small grain harvest continues in the Rolette, North Dakota area. “We got done with spring wheat and are just getting started on some durum they just sprayed off,” said Craig Wolf, Wolf Harvesting. The spring wheat yields were below expectations. “They had a lot better wheat last year than this year. The spring wheat was 35 to 40 bushels per acre. The quality’s around 60 pounds and 15 to 16 (percent) on protein, but just not enough acres or bushels.”
