The U.S. and Canadian swine inventory totaled 89 million head in June. That’s up slightly from a year ago and up two percent from 2023. The semi-annual report for the U.S. said the hogs and pigs inventory was up slightly from this past year, while Canadian supplies were down one percent. The pig crop was up one percent in both countries.
