On the third day of the RRFN Crop Tour presented by Pioneer, stops were made at Fertile, Roseau and Oklee, Minnesota. At each site, there is potential for over 200 bushels per acre corn. “That’s 74-day corn that potentially over 200 bushels (per acre), that was pretty much unheard of previously,” said Kevin Sinner, field agronomist. Sinner is even more confident about the soybean crop in far northwestern Minnesota. “Where white mold stayed away and where iron chlorosis didn’t chew things up, there is going to be some big yields in soybeans, too.” Get the crop tour recap from Sinner at this link.
