NDFB President Daryl Lies is not seeking re-election. Lies released a statement saying “there comes a time when change is right.” Lies has been at NDFB’s president for the past ten years. Farm Bureau delegates will vote on the president and vice president positions during its November election. The North Dakota Farmers Union is also going through a leadership change with President Mark Watne announcing earlier this year that he would not seek reelection.
