The Make America Healthy Again Commission is not recommending changes to crop protection regulations. The EPA will continue to oversee the pesticide review process and be asked to collaborate with USDA to promote precision agriculture tools to reduce the use of these crop protection tools. The New York Times, Washington Post and other traditional media outlets got a draft of the MAHA strategy before its official release to the public. The White House says this is a draft and not the final report. Environment, consumer and nutrition advocacy groups are criticizing the commission’s report. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has not made an official statement on the draft report.
