The latest Drought Monitor report shows drought conditions in North Dakota have improved since last week, with only 35 percent of the state considered within the abnormally dry range. That’s down from last week’s 48 percent. South Dakota’s drought conditions remained virtually unchanged from last week’s 32 percent in the abnormally dry range. Minnesota’s drought conditions worsened slightly over the past week, with parts of the state listed within the abnormally dry range increasing up to 15 percent, from last week’s 9 percent.
