AGCO has announced the appointment of Brian Sorbe as president of PTx, effective August 25. Sorbe spent 14 years at Topcon Positioning Systems, including time as senior vice president and general manager. Sorbe began his precision ag career at Ag-Chem Equipment in Jackson, Minnesota, which became part of AGCO in 2001. PTx includes AGCO’s Precision Planting business and its joint venture with Trimble.
