Summit Carbon Solutions has a new CEO. Joe Griffin has nearly four decades of experience in the natural gas industry, including Hiland Partners. That company is owned by a prominent figure in North Dakota’s oil industry, Harold Hamm. The Summit project would capture carbon emissions from 60 ethanol plants, transport it through a pipeline and sequester underground in North Dakota. Griffin succeeds Lee Blank, who had been the Summit CEO for the past three years.
