Litchfield, Minnesota’s Lund Harvesting has been waiting out the weather in southwest South Dakota. “We’ve been here for two days and are just waiting on the weather to straighten out so we can get started,” says owner Kenneth Lund. Consistent rains have made this a difficult year for harvesting, but Lund says they had a good run in Oklahoma before coming to South Dakota. “We got in there and got our stuff done, and got out of there. But I talked to a guy less than a week ago. He was still down there where I started cutting wheat.”
