The Senate Agriculture Committee has advanced two of President Trump’s USDA nominees. Dudley Hoskins was approved for undersecretary of marketing and regulatory programs, and Scott Hutchins for undersecretary of research, education, and economics. Votes on two additional nominees were postponed. Committee Chair John Boozman says he’s working with Senate leadership to schedule floor time for all pending USDA nominees.
