Dakota Agronomy Partners Agronomy Sales Representative Grace Mogen says crop development is progressing well in the Mohall, North Dakota area. “Canola is currently flowering or starting to come out of flowering, and wheat is starting to turn a little bit,” said Mogen. “Soybeans, corn, and sunflowers are also looking awesome after the warm weather we’ve been having and a little bit of rain.” Mogen is encouraging farmers to begin scouting fields and prepping for harvest. “For some pre-harvest stuff, I would look for late-season insects like grasshoppers or some diamondback moths in your canola.”
