Record corn yields are being forecast in the United States. Soybean and Corn Advisor President Michael Cordonnier said weather conditions in the first half of July have been nearly ideal for corn. Cordonnier raised his corn yield estimate two bushels to 182 bushels per acre. His corn production estimate is just shy of 15.8 billion bushels. The soybean estimate is up one bushel to 52.5 bushels per acre. The U.S. soybean production estimate increased to 4.3 billion bushels.
