A group of 32 Democratic senators has signed off on a letter of ‘strong opposition’ to a farm bill that would overturn state laws, like California’s Prop 12 and Q3 in Massachusetts. If included in the ‘skinny farm bill,’ the lawmakers claim it would result in unnecessary lawsuits. The two Democratic senators in this region, Minnesota Senators Klobuchar and Smith, did not sign this letter.
