Burlington, Colorado’s American Harvesting has been working on winter wheat harvest in their home state. Ron Rudzek says the winter wheat coming off looks pretty good. “It wasn’t too bad. Some of it went anywhere from 40 to 60. We got a lot of heat earlier that took the test weight down a little bit. For the most part, it wasn’t too bad.” Rudzek’s crew plans to head to South Dakota next, if the weather holds. “We’ve got about a couple of days running here if it’s dry, and we’ve had quite a bit of rain here too. Then, we’re going to try to go to South Dakota.”
