As part of its annual Summer Tour in Little Falls, the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association will be making six tour stops, including a visit to Barrett Pet Food. “It should be a great place to visit and see that side of animal agriculture,” says MSCA Executive Director Kaitlyn Root. “We’ve got a couple of cow-calf operations and feedlot operations to see as well, and Kaiser Farms.” In late 2024, Kaiser Farms constructed a deep pit slat barn which will be featured. “This tour is just a great opportunity for people to come see how animal agriculture gets turned into products here in Minnesota.” RRFN will report from the Summer Beef Tour.
