Speaking at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, President Trump ticked through a long list of policy goals and past accomplishments, emphasizing a firm immigration policy. However, Trump said agriculture would see some exceptions. “If a farmer is willing to vouch for his people, in some ways we’re going to have to just say that we’re going to be good with it,” said Trump. “We don’t want to do it where we take all the workers off the farm.” Trump was joined by members of his cabinet at the event, including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.
