A Neutral Cattle on Feed Report

Friday’s USDA Cattle on Feed report was mostly in line with trade expectations. Placements during May were at 1.89 million head and are eight percent below a year ago. Marketings during May at 1.76 million head are 10 percent below last year and total on-feed numbers of 11.44 million head are one percent less than a year ago.
