Crops in the Lakota, North Dakota area are doing well, but according to Mark Huso, they could use some more moisture. “For the most part, we’re pretty happy with how things look. But we certainly need some rain this week, early next week, to help fill some things in.” Huso says they’ve been lucky and haven’t needed any replants. “We haven’t had to replant anything at this time, but we will have some pinto beans, some canola, and some sunflowers, possibly even some soybeans, in the next few days. We might be making some decisions on what to do with those stands.”
