The prospects are good for the spring wheat crop in the region, which is increasing demand for scab management. Syngenta Crop Protection District Sales Manager Marc Rinke says that may change the fungicide strategy. “This is a year to use premium brands,” said Rinke. “There’s quite a price spread as to what you can use, but like anything in agriculture, and in life for that matter, you get what you pay for.
