London Hosts U.S.-China Trade Talks

The relationship between the United States and China takes a new turn today. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will meet with Chinese trade officials in London. The meeting follows a lengthy phone call between President Trump and Chinese President Xi on Thursday. A potential break in the trade war between the two superpowers would have dominated the headlines, but it was lost in Thursday’s feud between Trump and Elon Musk.
