Planting is finished in Norman County, Minnesota. Ada farmer John Brainard says the recent stretch of normal weather has helped stabilize conditions. “We ended up reseeding one quarter of sugarbeets, the emergence just wasn’t very good,” said Brainard. “I think we’re in pretty good shape right now. We’ve got good moisture and now we need some heat this week.”
