At East Grand Forks, Rhonda Larson had her wheat, sugarbeets, and most of the corn planted before the recent wet weather. Once the fields dry, weed control will be on the chore list. “Yeah, it’s kinda funny. We didn’t see a lot of weeds before the rain. I think the ground was still plenty cool, even when we had those hot days, it still didn’t generate any weeds. They’ll be coming now, though. They’ll be coming like crazy.”
