NDSU Extension Agent Michelle Gilley says field conditions in Eddy County are great and farmers are ready to get the tractors rolling. “It’s starting to dry out enough to plant. The flatter fields are still a little bit ponded, but everything else looks really good. Just waiting for it to look warm enough to plant.” Gilley expects local farmers to start with peas, canola, and wheat.
