Focusing on WOTUS Clarity

The Trump Administration is reviewing the Waters of the United States definition. This goal is to bring the EPA and Army Corps of Engineers jurisdictional decisions in line with the Supreme Court Sackett v. EPA ruling.  “We want to focus on clarity, simplicity, and improvements that will stand the test of time, while also prioritizing the practical implementation of regulations,” said Stacey Jensen, director of the EPA oceans, wetlands and communities division. The EPA and Corps hosted a listening session for agriculture and industry stakeholders this past week. Similar listening sessions for the general public are planned, but the dates have not yet been announced.
