Off-Farm Income Keeps Farmers Farming

According to a new report from American Farm Bureau Market Intel, off-farm income is serving as a buffer against the current market situation. In 2023, 77 percent of farm household income did not come directly from farm production. Ninety-six percent of farm households earned money from off-farm sources.
