Margins are razor thin, but Minnesota Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson says work is being done in the Minnesota Legislature. “Even with all of the volatility and rhetoric around it, it feels a little more like legislating again,” said Johnson. “In the last two years, Democrats did the bills behind closed doors, but now there’s a lot of going back and forth between the parties and if feels like we’re getting more consensus on bills. There’s a lot more compromise and really what people imagine legislating to be.”
